Kenny Fucich and the Fucich LLC team have played an instrumental role in helping Grand Tower Energy Center (GTEC) to complete multiple outages and projects on time and on budget from 2016 when I joined GTEC up to current day. The Fucich LLC team have been able to successfully plan, organize, implement, lead and effectively control all of the engineering, scaffolding, insulation and mechanical challenges and needs that a plant built in 1920 and repowered in 2000 could throw at them while maintaining a stellar safety record.
The Fucich LLC. team have successfully built hundreds of scaffolds in various configurations at Grand Tower Energy Center ranging from a 6’ platform to help maintenance crews reach the top of a filter vessel to a 40’ scaffold to allow a mechanical crew access to boiler tube walls and anything in between.
The Fucich LLC. team have also tackled several mechanical and insulation jobs for GTEC including water treatment plant improvement, wastewater treatment modifications, HRSG tube repair, gas turbine exhaust repair, fuel gas valve replacement, circulating water valve replacement, removing, repairing & installing gas turbine blankets, replacing damaged insulation in HRSG floors and walls, stripping and re-insulating thousands of feet of pipe, insulating several vessels and re-packing HRSG stack silencers.
